Monthly Beginner Intensive: start-up each month - Danish/English

A 6 hour, efficient course with a maximum of 3 other couples.
This course contains both practical and theoretical tuition, and upon successful completion you will be ready for both/either intermediate tuition and Beginner Floorplay.
We will learn about: communication, consent, safety, history of rope, single/double column ties (handcuffs), leg ties, ichi-nawa and more.

Starting from October 2025
From floor to suspensions: with 6 hours of class time each session, and with a max of 3 other couples, you'll be able to explore your first semi- (or perhaps full-) suspensions.
We will cover topics such as uplines, support lines, gote, body ties, more detailed patterns, and much more.

Advanced & kinky floorplay, vol 3 (every fortnight, 8 classes) - Danish/English

Last Saturday: Winter Shibari (play night) - Danish/English

Say farewell to the dark winter nights, and a big hello to loads of play and rope. Open nights in the winter months where you are welcome to tie and play.

Floorplay, vol 2 (every fortnight, 10 classes) - Danish/English

Currently running - With Henrigger.dk (https://www.henrigger.dk/floorplay-vol-2/For those who can tie a gote and basic patterns, we explore further - using bamboo, semi-suspensions and more - yet always on the floor.

1st and 3rd Friday: Peer Practice - Danish/English

Come and tie at Rope Space, without BDSM/sexual activity. This is a time for sharing, learning, exploring and training either in groups or alone. You are welcome to ask questions to our Space Holders, others, and have the chance to practice your ties so you can enjoy them later.

1st Saturday: Theme night & Play night - Danish/English

Let your imagination run wild! Whether you just want to tie, or want to draw some inspiration from the theme - come along. Enjoy the atmosphere, socialise, play, tie, and go for it. Themes such as Tying by Candlelight, Suits & Gowns, Masks and more...

2nd weekend (Sat or Sun) New & Curious Souls! Performance with show, tell & try yourself - Danish/English

These evenings are specially designed for curious Newbies and those who want to dip their toes into the waters of rope without any obligations. We start with a demo where you see a little of what rope can be about. Afterwards you can ask questions, and those who want to can try tying their first knots - either on their own body, or with a partner. We have a lot of ropes on hand that you can borrow, and there are no expectations for participation.

2nd Sunday: School time! Educational event - English with Danish option

Often held in English, this is a non-practical event where we will explore theoretical aspects of rope, or take part in sharing & discussions with each other. There are no expectations or requirements to take part – just a curious mind and desire to learn.

3rd Saturday: Shib-ART-ri / Stretch & Breathe / Platonic Ropes - Danish/English

This is when we hold some of our most unique events at Rope Space! The 3 (or more) topics will be rotated each month, so you never miss out on anything.

At a Shib-ART-ri event, 2 Space Holders will tie while participants enjoy the view and draw, sketch, paint, write or just chill... it is a cosy and calm afternoon suitable for everyone, especially creative souls.

Stretch & Breathe provides ideas and exercises that care for rope-lovers' bodies. We will do some breathing exercises and stretches together. You are also welcome to just turn up and relax - there are no expectations, and everything will be suitable for all body types.

Platonic Ropes is a special afternoon where all our mats, blankets and cushions are laid out together. We chill together on the floor and give "rope cuddles" to those who want them. There are no expectations, and all Rope Space Members are welcome.

Last Friday: Kink + Rope workshop & Play night - Danish/English

The evening starts with the opportunity to take part in a bite-size workshops where we will learn about a kink-based topic related to rope, for example warm-wax play and rope, impact play and rope. Afterwards we will open for a normal, fun and spicy Play Night where everyone is welcome to tie and play.

Non-fixed bamboo (every fortnight, 5 sessions) - Danish/English

Starting Quarter 1 2026 - With HenRigger.dk https://www.henrigger.dk/floating-bamboo/. A very small group, meaning you will have very close guidance from your instructors. We will learn to tie on un-fixed hashira (vertical bamboo) which opens a wealth of opportunities to challenge both rigger and model alike.

Tie Bigger: Intermediate/Advanced especially for riggers that are smaller than their models

Starting Quarter 1 2026 - Instructors TBC. Dedicated tuition that covers the specifics of tying as a rigger who is smaller than their model.

Photos while you tie!

Place your phone or camera on the mat while you tie. As Space Holders we will move quietly and gently among the mats and take photos of you while you tie. So you get your own photos of (just!) you, to take home.
