Floor work body-handling for every body type
Tell me more:
Letting go, being held, getting caught in ropes, and experiencing a safe bondage session is what both model and rigger want. Sometimes this isn’t so easy, especially when we encounter anatomical differences.
Description:
This workshop focuses on how to use targeted body handling on the floor to create safe bondage and utilize the body to amplify guidance and restrictions. Our goal is to create very dynamic sessions at the floor.
The workshop is also well-suited for couples where the model is heavier than the rigger.
We work exclusively on the floor, focusing on body handling, holding, moving, and guiding our model. No prior experience is necessary for this part of the workshop, and it is suitable for both beginners and experienced riggers.
Contents:
– a brief anatomy study and related tips on gravity and movements
– movement exercises and tips for riggers
– handle the model save and smooth without strength (How can I, as a rigger, move larger models with minimal strength and keep them safe and stable?)
Pre-requisites:
– open level, no requirements
Please bring:
– Comfy clothing
– Drinks & snacks
About your instructors:
This rope bondage duo from northern Germany has been captivating audiences for three years with workshops and shows characterized by their dynamic approach and a challenge to traditional gender roles. Ori has been exploring the Shibari scene as a rigger since 2017. She became involved with tying larger individuals, especially men. Her desire to ensure safety and a sense of release for all her partners has taught her to overcome size differences using simple techniques and anatomical tricks.
She’s also an aerial acrobat specializing in self-suspension. She has developed her own unique style, which she will share with you in the workshop on Sunday.
Tim, as a model, loves the challenge and dynamics of working with ropes. He can draw on his extensive experience as a heavier model and offer personalized guidance for the models in their workshops.
