This course in floor-based Shibari will get under your skin: we will work with polarity, control, intimacy and the erotic connection between bodies.
Using just the most foundational knots as our base, we will challenge and develop both riggers and models alike. Predicament, exhibition, connection and pleasure..

Description:

This is about everything that stays on the floor - not about the suspension lines. på gulvet.
You will learn to create rope experiences where intensity, trust and polarity meld together - where each movement, each rope and each breath mean something.

We will work with concepts such as semenawa-inspired techniques, pressure points, twists and exposure (of mind, not just body).
You will learn to balance and move between physical and emotional contact - where we create enjoyment and experience through our ropes.

• Polarity

• Communication - and discomfort
• The normal reactions and limits of a body

Pre-requisites:

You will need to be able to tie a safe single and double column tie, and have an awareness of frictions and rope joins.
We cover these concepts in our beginners' course.

This is where the real journey begins - here where you begin to use ropes as a means of communicating desire, playfulness and polarity.
It is expected that you are aware ofyour own, and your partner's, boundaries - and that you are able to communicate clearly and respectfully, also when in moments of intimacy and intensity.

What will I learn?

• To create predicament and pressure, without using suspensions.
• To use rope to intensify focus, breath control and rhythm
• To find a balance between discomfort, enjoyment and contact
• To read your partner's signals - and to react with control and care
• To build up a scene around themes such as exposure, sensory deprivation, and submission

Please bring:

• Minimum 5 ropes (8-10m)
• Safety shears
• Comfortable clothes suitable for this type of play
• Any toys that are part of your dynamic

Teaching format

Each tie will begin with a demonstration -. honest and real
We will show the techniques, discuss alternatives and thereafter let you explore within your own dynamic.
There is always space for play, experimenting, and reflection.
We will support you throughout - knowing that ropes speak their own language.
