From floor work to suspension \u2013 feeling held and safe as bigger model<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/em><\/strong><\/span>This workshop is primarily aimed at couples where the rigger is shorter or lighter than the model. We’ll explore how to create a safe suspension experience for heavier individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Description:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/em>An important aspect of this is to understand your own anatomy and that of your partner. For example, people with broad shoulders have different bondage requirements than those with wide hips. We’ll individually consider how to adapt our bondage to each person’s body type.
\n<\/span>Then we’ll take a gentle approach to suspension, making it easier for smaller riggers to handle.<\/span><\/p>\n

About your instructors:
\n<\/strong><\/em>This rope bondage duo from northern Germany has been captivating audiences for three years with workshops and shows characterized by their dynamic approach and a challenge to traditional gender roles.\u00a0Ori<\/strong>\u00a0has been exploring the Shibari scene as a rigger since 2017.\u00a0She became involved with tying larger individuals, especially men.<\/strong>\u00a0Her desire to ensure safety and a sense of release for all her partners has taught her to overcome size differences using simple techniques and anatomical tricks.
\nShe\u2019s also an aerial acrobat specializing in self-suspension. She has developed her own unique style, which she will share with you in the workshop on Sunday.
\nTim, as a model, loves the challenge and dynamics of working with ropes.<\/strong>\u00a0He can draw on his extensive experience as a heavier model and offer personalized guidance for the models in their workshops.<\/p>\n
